We are raising the industry standards and issuing a code of conduct to our our vendors + attendees. It is important to us that our work is respected, and protected. In stating the desire of respect + protection of ours, our vendors + our attendees work, we are raising the industry standard of use, collaboration + community. Every vendor and every attendee will be asked to fill out + sign an industry standard form, and will be expected to hold themselves accountable for said practice. Our CONTENT BUILDER sessions are partial day events 2-4 hours
Content days include Flat Lay Sessions, Lifestyle Sessions, Bridal Boudoir Sessions, etc. Content days are geared towards photographers who are comfortable with their gear and their shooting style, and want to capture specific content for their upcoming season. Content days will be 2-4 hours (depending on season/subject/topic) with little to no lead photographer guidance, styled station(s), typically 1-2 model(s), light snacks. Our PORTFOLIO BUILDERS are half to full day fully styled shoots.
Portfolio days are geared towards photographers who want to gain more knowledge of shooting styles, have new gear they want to practice with, and want a bit of guidance (ie: posing, lighting, shadows, etc.) from a lead photographer through the shoot day. Portfolio days will be 2-6 hours (depending on season/subject/topic) with guidance of a lead photographer, multiple styled station(s), typically 1-2 model(s), light snacks. We host a small group of photographers to build your portfolio. This is a fully styled design with models, fashion, jewelry, food, cake, table decor, florals, hmua, stationery, and details. Your portfolio images are yours to share** with your potential clients to show off what you are able to do for them on their special day, and via your social media and business blog. Your images are not for publication purposes at our Portfolio Builder sessions. Attendees are expected to advocate for themselves in these groups. Ask the questions you need answers to. We create an instagram pod in messenger for attendees to follow along, and an easy copy & paste vendor list for quick posting. You will be provided with a full vendor list for proper tagging and will be expected to tag each vendor appropriately, with easy to follow instructions from our social media hot points. Occasionally we provide some educational tips/points, and information if there is a need during a particular design. We provide a lead photographer who will spend time with attendees helping to pose, find lighting, and who helps to create a design along with our creative director. If you wish to get more from our lead photographers, please reach out to them directly to inquire about mentorship programs. Each attendee will be given time to shoot the model posed, and to try a pose of their own. *** We provide on site hair and makeup with a professional HMU Artist who will be on set to keep the models ready to go for each set. There may be some crossover content as far as social media coverage, how to info, etc. All downloadable content will be provided to each attendee after the event has concluded. We change topics regularly to keep things fresh! Your meals while on site are provided. We can't wait to get back to hosting retreats...
Our RETREATS are multi day events. At our retreats, we offer more then a styled shoot. We want each attendee to truly feel energized to dive into their full season ahead. We host a group of all types of wedding industry vendors together in a retreat setting, having every part of your time spent with us catered to. Our 'styled shoots' at retreats will be focused more on the education of building a team, creating a design together, supporting each other and bringing the design to life. Our Retreat Styled Shoots will offer all the typical vendor involvement including Hair & Makeup on site to keep model(s) ready. We will have lots of hands on learning, education and down time. We will focus on building our brands and businesses while supporting others. There will be an event photographer on site to document the time spent at the retreat, as well as headshots. We will offer photographer lead editing tips during our 'hands on keys' editing time. We offer HMUA touch ups & fresh headshots for each attendee. There will be a vendor panel discussion for all vendors on site to provide you with their insight to building their businesses through styled shoots. There will be a social media seminar, to help you enhance your platform! Your portfolio images are yours to share** with your potential clients to show off what you are able to do for them on their special day, and via your social media and business blog. We have a private Facebook Group for all attendees prior to, during and for a short time after each portfolio builder for a place to ask questions, get answers, and to keep up to date on all the ins & outs of the session you are attending. You will be provided with a full vendor list for proper tagging with easy to follow instructions from our social media hot points. All downloadable content will be provided to each attendee after the event has concluded. We change topics regularly to keep things fresh! Every meal is provided for you. |

We will host a small group a few times per year. This event is open to anyone in the event and wedding industry who wants to learn how to put together a styled shoot to enhance their business. We will teach you how to approach vendors; etiquette of the process & day of your styled shoot; how to build a design to share with your vendors; and so much more! All downloads will be provided to you for the day. Our day will include lunch and/or snacks. You only need to bring yourself, your powered up laptop and an open mind ready to learn! The rest is taken care of for you! |

Business Builders
Business Builders is a series of sessions created to guide wedding industry professionals with important current events, topics and subjects. Often with guest speakers, and vendor panels to host open dialogue conversations. Included in these sessions are: Inclusion, Social Media topics, Best Practices, and more. |

Our Flat Lay + Styling sessions are partial day events.
Flat Lay Sessions are the best for getting your hands on designing to create content for your own social media. We have a decor store, props, and florals at your fingertips, offer guidance and tips to follow when designing your flat lay, and an event photographer that will take 5-8 images of your finished designs, and will send edited to you for your social media use. We host a moderate group of event and wedding industry attendees for a partial day, offering a light lunch and/or some snacks from a local caterer or restaurant. Table Styling Sessions are super fun with challenges and team work built in to our day. Think game show meets wedding industry...and lots of fun and pretty table designs too! |

Our SOCIALS are a no work zone.
We get away from work just to connect and a chance to get to know each other outside of work connections! We love a good pub, a great beer, and a fun night with friends! This is also a great place to meet vendors and attendees from our past workshops and find out what we are all about! I hope you can join us sometime!! Please drink responsibly, and get home safe! |

* Portfolio builders are geared towards photographers; however, we would never turn away someone eager to learn more on set of a styled shoot.
** Images captured at our events are not permitted to be sent for publication without the express consent of the creative director and all parties involved in the creation of the event. *** Posing during portfolio builders is a timed session. Each attendee is given an allotted time to shoot the model(s) in the posed position our lead photographer chooses; and in some cases, are able to move and pose the model(s) to their own specifications. Timing is based on our location, weather, and itinerary for the day. A detailed list of what to expect at each event in our Workshop Series will be on the specific event page. |
