My name is Malorie, but you can call me Mal. I'm a wedding + elopement photographer based out of Alberta, Canada. 

I was born and raised in a small town in Southern Alberta, where the prairies meet the Rocky Mountains. I love a good thunderstorm, running through wildflower fields, and climbing mountains. My ideal weekend consists of camping under the stars with my husband and pup, and spending the day in the river fly fishing. I thrive in the outdoors, and am so inspired by this insanely beautiful world that was created for us. 

My ultimate goal is to capture your love in a way that you will cherish forever. I want your photos to show the raw and real moments that you share together. I'm all about creating an environment where you're free to be yourself, so your photos reflect who YOU are.

Hello!! I specialize in wedding and engagement photography with a budding passion for boudoir photography.
I am from a small town in Saskatchewan. I moved to the Bow Valley in 2015 to practice as an Optometrist during the week. I travel between Canmore, Banff, & Cochrane.
My goal is to capture the beauty, strength, love & happiness of people. I photograph ordinary people in extraordinary situations.
My background in Optometry gave me the underlying knowledge of the science behind photography (optics, aperture, focusing, depth of field, etc…) A camera is essentially like a mechanical eye. Needless to say I understood how a camera worked from day one. Photography though, is like life, dynamic, unqiue, and unpredictable. I love the challenge and opportunity this passion gives me to explore my creative side.
A ‘perfect’ image is a split second in time – it brings together a perfect moment, with perfect light & perfect perspective. When all three of these things align, it truly is beautiful.
I believe deeply in teamwork, community, and collaboration. I am so happy to be a professional in 3 diffferent communities. In addition, I am so lucky to have the opportunity to share and ‘capture some of life’s moments you can’t put into words!’
