​Hey! I’m a Calgary based wedding, birth & lifestyle photographer. I’m a wife, Mom, music addict, beach lover, chocoholic and I love to meet new people. In 2013, I quit my oil & gas job to pursue photography full time. I wanted to be home with my kids while doing something I love for a living and that’s how my part time passion became my dream career.
I love photographing people. My inspiration comes directly from the clients I photograph. Each wedding, birth story and photo session is unique and the connections people have are so meaningful and important and that’s what I love to capture.
My shooting style is very natural, candid and relaxed while giving guidance or suggestions when needed. My goal for your wedding day, birth story or photo session is to let you completely be yourself and leave everything to me so you don’t have to worry about a thing. I invest everything into my clients and I truly want your experience with me to be easy, comfortable and fun. The more comfortable you are with me, the more relaxed you will be in front of the camera which is what produces those genuine images.

Details...ahhhh...I can't get enough!  From our stationery suite, to table design, cake and even a very special shot of our menu...the details get me every time!!!  

We had a fabulous time visiting some off site locations for these fabulous shots from Erin.   I have so much fun looking through all these captured moments and seeing the fun and laughter, and the love in the eyes of our models, Kim & Bryton.

Kimberly has attended all of our workshops, and I absolutely love that!  At each workshop, we create something unique and different, and have new information to share.  It is a great way to get re-inspired and update your portfolio!! 
 I hope you want to join one of our workshops someday too!  

Kimberly's light and airy style is perfectly represented in these images from the Canadian Mountain Love Workshop.  I love that she captured all the details...the blankets on the chairs, the basket of rolled blankets, the florals....details are one of my favourite things!

Photography has always been her passion and she was known in her circle of friends for documenting everyone's lives. She completed her SAIT photography certificate in 2012 and founded Captured in Amber Photography in 2014. I was so excited to meet and work along side Amber.  I had viewed her work on instagram, and knew she was wanting to venture into the wedding photography world.  I was so excited for all that she could get out of the workshop, and she most certainly did not disappoint!  Her style of photography is unposed, and fun.  
'keeping' it real' is what I call it!  

I am so impressed with the images that Amber captured at the workshop.  I feel like she is well on her way to capturing many amazing wedding images!!
