Our bridal Boudoir series continues with the romantic french style, in soft blue colour palette, rooms filled with fragrant florals, and of course, the soft curves of the bride.

The claw foot cast iron tub adorned with soft tulle, florals and a coconut milk bath is the perfect way to spend your bridal morning.

From beautiful serene bathtub moments to lounging on the velvet settee in the most perfect light...is there a wrong way to do it...never.

Fine art photography loves and uses the natural light in the most amazing way.  Practice with it, work with it, use it to your advantage and let your creativity soar.

Where to begin with this workshop day?
The torrential downpour of rain; the gloomy grey skies...no!
We start with how grateful we are that we had an entire group of vendors and attendees that were willing to spend the day with us in the rain and grey skies!

​Jenny's vision, and her style of artistry brought this day to life, and we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out.

Soft seating ceremony dreams!  The venue, Pine + Pond has the most beautiful indoor clear sides + top tent, and it was the perfect location for our rainy day romantic ceremony.

The sun peeked through, and eventually cleared the sky above us to make this day even more incredible.  We took advantage of the clear skies, and toured areas of the venue for breathtaking captures.

Using the many features of the venue, our styled shoot inspiration came to life!

I believe the words were...
'it stopped raining...put them in the boat!!!!'
If there was one thing we really wanted to do, it was the row boat shots.  We had a spot in the sky that seemed to open just for us, and it felt, and looked like a fairy tale!

The style for the couple was romantic, classic and modern as a juxtaposition to the vintage decor, and softness in the florals.

Our lovely couple, who drove in for the day, are a newly married couple, and truly in love.  This is our absolute favourite...a real couple, in love, and willing to share a kiss in front of all of us! haha​

This day was incredible.  Our attendees had an opportunity to create magic in their captures, whether it pour rain all day or not!  It gives them an opportunity to add 'rainy day wedding' to their portfolio, and in turn, show potential clients that they can make any day magical with their photography skills.  
The lesson here:  Trust in your capabilities.  
Rain will happen on a real wedding day.  You should be able to work in these conditions and still create a beautiful memory book for your clients.  Shooting a styled shoot in a workshop setting such as Wild Rose Workshop Series gives you that chance, and a leg up on your future rainy day weddings!
