I'm so thrilled, and over the mood with excitement for this!
I invited Lynn Fletcher...yes, THELynn Fletcher, of LFW and Confetti Magazine to come and speak to our attendees about getting their styled shoots published in print, and online!
I will never forget the look on her face when she made the walk up the path to our setting...she loved it! I wanted to squeal!

When Lynn casually mentioned this would be good for the magazine...I may have done 50 back flips (in my head of course...I couldn't do a single flip if my life depended on it!)!!
What an enormous honour to even be thought of for a print publication in one of our fav. local wedding magazines!!

So, to say we were excited when the call came that we would officially be in print in the latest Confetti Wedding Magazine...well...I may have tried another flip ;)
So be sure to find each of these vendors listed below, show them some love, plan some collaborations, and reach for your dreams friends!!!
I'm super proud of what our little community has built, and what we have come to accomplish...and we want to share that with you all!

We asked our design team to answer some fun holiday questions to get us in the holiday spirit and get to know them a little better. Here's what Melanie shared with us:
Melanie LeBlanc: Grey Lily Photography:
Q: Without the obvious; what is one physical thing you could show a client to help them understand what you do?
A: I did struggle with this as I find my camera and photos to be such an obvious giveaway. So if I were to think outside the box, I'd say wedding rings, polaroid's and stationery...
Q: What is your favourite holiday decor piece?
A: My mom made a beautiful ceramic Santa Claus (about 2 ft tall) a few Christmases after I was born. (So he's about 37-38 now!) He has been with our family every year since and he is and always will be my favorite holiday piece.
Q: What is your favourite holiday colour to decorate with?
A: Neutrals. Gold, cream and green, with touches of wood. Although my decor right now is grey, black and red with touches of wood. Haha. Very much the opposite of what I would normally do. But it's fun to spice things up a bit! :)
Q: What is your most favourite holiday tradition?
A: Christmas Eve at our house has become a new tradition since we got our home 5 years ago. We have the immediate family over for appy's, drinks and games and it's imperative that you wear PJ's! We open one gift each and listen to Christmas Music ALL night long! My favorite!
Q: What is your favourite holiday drink?
A: I'm not a big coffee drinker but I do love a good coffee and bailey's at Christmas time or Bailey's on ice.
Q: Are you yay or nay on the ugly Christmas sweater party trend?
A: I absolutely love ugly Christmas Sweaters. I've been sporting them for at least the last 10 years!
Q: What is your favourite holiday movie?
A: The Original Grinch. A wish for wings that work. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Prancer. The 12 days of Christmas- Creature Comforts. *This is a great one to watch with the kids if you can find it!
Q: What is your favourite holiday song?
A: Love the oldies: I’ll be home for Christmas by The Carpenters. Oh Christmas Tree by Nat King Cole. My Grown Up Christmas List by Amy Grant
Q: Clear or multi coloured holiday lights?
A: Clear. I have OCD. They all have to be clear. Haha
Q: Describe your ideal holiday day!!
A: Getting together with family and friends. Plain and simple. Enjoying each other's company. Good food, lots of laughter. And celebrating the season together!

We asked our design team to answer some fun holiday questions to get us in the holiday spirit and get to know them a little better. Here's what Tavia shared with us:
Tavia Hayden; Sweet Bloom Floral Designs:
Q: Without the obvious; what is one physical thing you could show a client to help them understand what you do?
A: On my flat lay, I will be showcasing all different types of mediums that can be incorporated into designs such as branches, moss, flower pods, and drift wood. Items not typically thought of but when I have full creative choices they are often seen in my designs…stay tuned for the flat lat that will showcase the elements of our Holiday Bloom Arrangements and Wreaths. And I will sneak in a couple of my tiny vases… it's a thing! I love collecting TINY vases!
Q: What is your favourite holiday decor piece?
A: Ok, so I’m a bit sentimental… I have a tiny figure set of Santa and Mrs. Claus kissing that my Nanny (Grandmother) made for me when I was little. She was such a talented artist and loved her ceramics. So one year she wrapped up this little surprise and ever since then it has been my most treasured holiday decoration. I’ll bring it to the workshop so you can see all its cuteness!
Q: What is your favourite holiday colour to decorate with?
A: Oooh that’s a tough one… I love a deep rich red. But I’m a simple gal at Christmas so I like it mixed in with antique metallics and fresh winter greens in an understated design. In fact, Scandinavian design really resonates with me at Christmas as it brings in the nostalgia of the holidays without being overwhelming. Simple, classic, fresh and COZY... that’s me!
Q: What is your most favourite holiday tradition?
A: I have a day full of family traditions that I just love and really on their own it’s just not the same. So, on Christmas Eve we start with a Gingerbread decorating challenge, followed by making and spreading Reindeer food, an evening movie (Christmas Vacation) in our matching holiday jammies, and I always read “The Night Before Christmas” to everyone as I tucked them in for the night.
Q: What is your favourite holiday drink?
A: I love eggnog in my HOT coffee! And if its an adult drink… Mulled Wine! Yah, its a gooder!
Q: are you yay or nay on the ugly Christmas sweater party trend?
A: I’m a simple, kind of minimalist, so I don’t like buying things for just one occasion. SO I guess that's a Nay!
Q: What is your favourite holiday movie?
A: Well, definitely Christmas Vacation. Last year my daughter was old enough to be aware of the language so she tallied all the “major and minor” words… 46 swears to be exact! It makes us laugh and revel in the idea of sliding on that disc!
Q: What is your favourite holiday song?
A: It’s cheesy but I love the old Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers holiday sound track. I listened to it as a kid and I still find myself belting out the words.
Q: Clear or multi coloured holiday lights?
A: I’m stuck on this one… I’ve done both and each has a lovely feeling but I guess if I selected (without kids to pressure) I would pick a warm white.
Q: describe your ideal holiday day!!
A: To be honest, I have a hard time settling down. I love being out and about enjoying Christmas lights, skating or skiing, being with friends, and finding treasures at local markets…. but if I take a minute to reflect then I would say my favourite days are at home completely chilled out with time to enjoy a hot cup of coffee while reading on the couch, cozied up with my family while watching a movie, making Santa cookies with my daughter, playing board games as a family, and enjoying some easy meals like nachos and salsa…. to be exact… haha!
