from Vanessa... My name is Vanessa; I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. I’m currently living in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and enjoy the change in pace of life and the scenery around the province is outstanding! I work part-time as a Licensed Practical Nurse and enjoy the rewards and struggles that come with a nursing career. However, my main passion is photography! I have a love for abandoned homesteads and buildings; the history of them has always captivated my imagination and feeds my creativity. What type of families lived there? What made them leave? How long has it been vacant? My ideal day would be travelling the Alberta back roads looking for these hidden gems! I enjoy taking photographic workshops throughout the province; it allows me to work alongside other photographers and network within the large Albertan photographer community! I have also taken classes at the Burwell School of Photography in Edmonton, Alberta and have learned many tips and tricks that I continue to use on a daily basis. I have been taking pictures since my late teens, but just recently as 2016 started taking it seriously. I enjoy capturing images that tell a story or portray a relationship in a relaxed, candid, naturally lit setting. To me, the best feeling in the world is hearing the words of a happy client. I know the options for photographers these days are endless, so I consider it an extreme honour when a client chooses me to capture their memories. Please feel free to take a look throughout my website and don’t hesitate to contact me for any additional information needed. - Vanessa :) Sharing some of Vanessa's images from our Cozy Couples session: This is how morning coffee should be!
