Social Sharing can be daunting...WE KNOW IT!! But with a few simple tips, we will teach you the best practices for sharing...and, how to get shared!! RE-SHARES Once you have shared your images via social media platforms, you will see the vendors start to re-share them too. This is the goal friends! With each list of vendors in a shoot, we also have a list of advertisers! For each vendor who re-shares, we are being seen by their audience too. Besides a few minutes of time, it costs us nothing! Essentially free advertising.
HASHTAG SHARES Using hashtags in your captions will add your images to the queue of each hashtag used. As we mentioned in Part 1 of our blog post, each major wedding blog has its own # they encourage wedding industry accounts to use to be featured. Check the account profile of your fav blog to see what their preferred hashtag is. They make it as easy as possible to get seen.
STORY SHARES Sharing in stories is so easy to do! When you are tagged, you will get a notification of the story share, and you can share that in your story as well. In your notifications, you can click on add to story and BAM...story re-shared yet again!
The end story here friends, is that sharing your images, and re-sharing images via social media is ALWAYS A GOOD THING. There are little rules, and etiquette to follow when sharing a team effort, but all in all...its the easiest and cheapest way to get seen. Try it today...and watch your engagement grow!
